Job Description: BASIS Administrator (mid-level)
We are seeking a skilled SAP BASIS Administrator & Security administrator to join our dynamic IT team. You will be responsible for the technical administration, maintenance, User administration, Role creation & maintenance and support of SAP applications, including SAP ECC, PI/PO, SAP web dispatcher , and other SAP modules. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure our SAP environments stability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:

Perform/participate in SAP installations, upgrades, system copies/refresh, and migrations.
Configure and maintain SAP NetWeaver systems (ABAP and Java stacks).
Knowledgeable on different user and role types, SAP Authorization Concept, Roles/Activity Groups, and User Administration.
Good understanding on concepts of Segregation of Duties SoD
Monitor and optimize system performance and ensure high availability of SAP systems.
Troubleshoot SAP application and infrastructure issues.
Coordinate and manage various activities with 3rd party providers including AMS and SAP RISE.
Maintain documentation related to SAP configurations, processes, and procedures.
Participate in scheduled maintenance activities including planning, execution, or directing 3rd parties.
Ensure SAP releases, patches, and upgrades are up to date; evaluate and apply accordingly.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration & Security.
Proficient in SAP installation, configuration, and administration across multiple SAP products including familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA on RISE.
Hands-on experience with SAP patching and support pack installation.
Strong understanding of SAP landscapes, system refreshes, and client copies.
Good knowledge in SAP security administration and user management.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP environments independently or as a member of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a remote and in person work environment.
Broad understanding of enterprise applications and the ability to learn new skills and applications as requirements dictate.
SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) preferred.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment.
